Graduated in Medicine at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (1994 – Brazil), with a Medical Residency in Pediatrics at Casa de Saúde Santa Marcelina (1997), and later in Child Neurology (Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo – FMUSP, 2000), Specialization in Pain and Stereotactics (ACCamargo Cancer Center – São Paulo, 2001); training in Palliative Care – Pallium América Latina, Universidade Del Salvador (2008) and Oxford International Center for Palliative Care (2008).
Founding Member of the National Academy of Palliative Care (ANCP-Brazil).
Working at Hospital AC Camargo from 2001 to 2022, in the Department of Pain and Functional Neurosurgery, she founded and headed the Palliative Care Service (Adult and Child); also serving on the Ethics and Research Committee on Human Beings.
Master in Oncology Sciences from the Antônio Prudente Foundation – ACCamargo, Brazil.
