Luis Romero Padilla received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Liberty University. He is currently a 3rd Year medical student at New York Medical College, where he is a part of the Surgical Interest Group. His prior research was conducted at Memorial Sloan Kettering and focused on hernia repairs using a top-hat technique. His work has been presented at the MedStar Conference at Georgetown University. His research interests include socioeconomic disparities in trauma outcomes, pre-hospital trauma care, and the cross-section between laws and medicine.
