I am a Cardiac Surgeon specializing in congenital heart diseases of children and adults. Every day I enter the operating room and together with my colleagues we “repair” serious and sometimes life-threatening heart abnormalities in newborns, infants, children and adults.

I love my specialty, because me and my colleagues, thanks to our HY-specialization, we have the opportunity to give to a child, who reaches us with a very small chance of survival, his own life.

As parents we are not even psychologically prepared to learn that our newborn or child is suffering from a heart condition or even to hear the words “risk of survival”. We do everything to stand by your child and you as a parent!
