Anna Maria Testi is an Haematologist; Assistant Professor at “Sapienza” University of Rome, Italy. She was the Head of Pediatric Hematology Unit at Department of Translational and Precision Medicine, at “Sapienza” University of Rome up to 2021, where she was tutor and professor at the School of Specialty in Haematology. She was an active participant in National Research Council (CNR) research programs; coordinator and teacher of Pediatric Hematology training for Venezuelan and Iraqi paediatricians at Hematology Section, of “Sapienza” University; scientific coordinator of the Telemedicine and E-Learning Project, between University of Rome and College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, Iraq. Research and clinical activities focused on pediatric/adolescents hematological malignant/no-malignant diseases. She was involved in national and international research programs; she was member of the writing commettee of the multicentric studies on childhood ALL and AML and co-investigator in investigational trials of new drugs in relapsed childhood ALL. She was “Principal investigator” for the protocol of acute lymphoid leukemia in adolescents/young adults of the GIMEMA group (1308 protocol) and the chairperson of the International Protocol for treatment of childhood acute promyelocytic leukemia (ICC APL 01). Testi is member of: AIEOP cooperative Group (Associazione Italiana di Ematologia ed Oncologia Pediatrica); GIMEMA Cooperative Group (Gruppo Italiano per le Malattie Ematologiche dell’Adulto); International BFM Study Group (I-BFM SG) and SIOP (International Society of Pediatric Oncology). She is author or co-author of over 200 articles published in international journals and referee of international journals. She was speaker and chairperson to national and international congresses.
