She studied her Ph.D. in Economic Sciences at the National Polytechnique Institute in Mexico City, she has been a Professor-Researcher at the Social Sciences and Humanities School, Economics Department, Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Unidad Iztapalapa since 2004. Her interest lies in the understanding of economic phenomena with an empirical basis inscribed in a theoretical structure. Her research field es applied econometrics.
