Ms Barros holds a degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in educational psychology and a PhD in Education. She holds two post-doctorates in Public Health: one with an emphasis on Educators’Health and the other in Public Policies and Human Development. She also supervises post-doctorate professionals on Doctoral retention project in the State of Espírito Santo, sponsored by the Espírito Santo Research Support Foundation. She is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. From 2003 to 2013 she worked as a consultant for National Humanization Policy at the Ministry of Health in Brazil.
