Prof Sheila Lindner has a degree in nursing, a master’s degree in Public Health (2005) and a doctorate in Public Health (2013) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Is a researcher on violence and health; human rights, social security and justice systems. She is an assistant professor at the Department of Public Health, the Postgraduate Program in Public Health and the Professional Master’s Degree in Mental Health and Psychosocial Care at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Coordinates the Social Security and Justice Systems Observatory (OSJ/UFSC). Is coordinator of the Center for the Open University of SUS (UNA-SUS) at UFSC. Coordinates institutional cooperation between UFSC and the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada and the University of Melbourne (UNIMELB) in Australia.
