Luiz Guilherme de Saboya Lenzi, MD, PhD is an orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist specialized in hand surgery, with a primary focus on wrist arthroscopy. He is affiliated with IOT Blumenau Hospital, Brazil, and is actively involved in the IWAS/IWC/ IRCAD Wrist Arthroscopy Training Program in São Paulo.
Dr. Lenzi completed his medical training and earned his PhD in Surgery at the Escola Paulista de Medicina, Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), one of the leading academic institutions in Brazil.
He has a strong academic background, with multiple publications in international peer-reviewed journals in the field of hand and wrist surgery. His research interests include scapholunate instability, minimally invasive techniques, and ligament reconstruction of the wrist and Dupuytrens disease.
