Dr. Anthony MacKenzie-Gureje is a British doctor who graduated from the University of Bristol in 2012. He became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2017. Having previously worked in Trauma and Orthopaedics, he switched to Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in 2021. He recently completed an MSc in Surgical Innovation at Imperial College London and is hoping to start Dentistry at Trinity College Dublin. He is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, having been on expeditions to locations including Iceland, Tanzania, Morocco and the Sahara, and is deeply passionate about issues relating to global surgery.
