Sogol Asgari

Dr. Sogol Asgari was born in 1976 in Zanjan, Iran. She is married and has a child. Currently,
she lives in Tehran and is working as an anesthesiologist in Loghman Hospital.
She first became interested in medicine at the age of 16. This led her to attend the Islamic
Azad University of Tehran, where she graduated as a general practitioner. Her experiences in
medical school eventually led her to attend the residency training program in anesthesia, and
subsequently did her fellowship in Neuro anesthesia at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical
Sciences. She ranked first in the specialized board examination in Iran, and eventually was
licensed and boarded in 2019. Afterward, she became a faculty member of Shahid Beheshti
University of medical sciences and began her career as an assistant professor. Her areas of
interest are Neuro anesthesia and Regional anesthesia
