Columbia University , New York Presbyterian hospital
A resident doctor with a keen interest in cardiothoracic surgery. I completed an internship at Columbia University – New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where I had the opportunity to work under the supervision of leading cardiothoracic surgeons. Their mentorship inspired me to further explore advanced aortic valve procedures, particularly the reinforced Ross technique. Motivated by its potential to improve autograft durability and long-term outcomes, I undertook this research comparing the reinforced and standard Ross procedures. I aim to contribute to the growing evidence supporting innovative, durable surgical options for complex aortic root disease.
