I am a fifth year orthopedic resident at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree at Columbia University in Biology. I then pursued a short career as a professional hip-hop dancer in San Francisco. I subsequently completed medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where I stayed for orthopedic residency. I will be continuing my training with a fellowship in spine surgery at UC San Diego next year. I am personally interested in the advancement of minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of degenerative and traumatic spinal pathologies as well as in the design of implants that improve motion preservation.
