Dr Aleksandrić graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Medicine, in 2004 with an outstanding GPA of 9.74/10. He completed postgraduate studies in Clinical and Applied Anatomy, defending his Master’s thesis in 2014 and later his PhD thesis on diagnostic and surgical approaches in the treatment of mucinous cystic neoplasms of the pancreas.
He has participated in national and international research projects, including studies on pancreatic cystic tumors, cardiac muscle pathology, and surgical outcomes (ESTES SBO, GECKO study). In 2011, he completed professional training in Neck Ultrasound and Fine Needle Aspiration of Thyroid Nodules at the University Hospital of Pisa, Italy.
Since 2022, Dr. Aleksandrić has been appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in General Surgery and Anesthesiology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
