I was born on the first of January 1957 in a small town in Sudan. I received my primary school education in the same town.
My family moved to the capital, Khartoum, where I completed my education and joined the College of Medicine in Khartoum in July 1976. I graduated in November 1982.
My career in surgery started after finishing the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in July 1991. I joined the high surgical training program in the UK. After finishing the surgical training in the UK, I joined the Ministry of health kingdom Saudia Arabia as general and laparoscopic surgeon for 6 years.
I returned back to my home country to work as an associate prof of surgery for 5 years in 2005. In 2010 I retrained back in KSA as a consultant general and laparoscopic surgeon.
My main interest is laparoscopic surgery and trauma surgery. Special interest in laparoscopic hernia repair. Currently I am the ATLS course senior instructor and course Director in Hafer AL Batin region
