Dr. Ai Jiang, M.D., Ph.D. candidate obtained his qualification as an Attending Surgeon in China and is currently a Ph.D. candidate and Research Fellow at the Department of Aesthetic, Reconstructive and Regenerative Medicine, Nippon Medical School Hospital, Japan. He has extensive experience in injectables: a user of hyaluronic acid (HA) since 2015 with more than 50,000 syringes performed to date; a user of collagen since 2017, with over 2,000 syringes annually during 2022–2024; and a user of PLLA since 2021, averaging 1,000 vials per year. Dr. Ai is the founder of the Weekly Journal Club (“微颗粒文献读书会”), a leading academic platform for aesthetic medicine in China. He also serves as President of the Sino-Japan Plastic and Aesthetic Exchange Association, is a member of the Japan Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (JSPRS), and holds committee memberships in the Chinese Association of Plastics and Aesthetics (Thread Technology Branch; New Materials and New Technology Branch), the Chinese Non-Public Medical Aesthetics Association, and the Luzhidao Medical Group Professional Committee. His research focuses on scar prevention, regenerative medicine, and innovative biomaterials in aesthetic surgery.
