Pediatric Infectious Diseases Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile
Rodrigo Vásquez De Kartzow, Pediatric Physician at the University of Cauca in Popayán, Colombia and Pediatric Infectologist at the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) Children’s Hospital of Mexico. At the moment, he is an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile. Director of the Department of Pediatrics and Children’s Surgery – Campus Center. From 17 years he has been working on health issues associated with migratory flows.
He has several publications on the subject in national and international magazines. Member of the Migration and Health Working Group of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile and was part of the Technical Committee on Migration and Health of the Ministry of Health. In addition, he has worked for the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in the preparation of a technical document to confront tuberculosis at the borders and its relationship with migration.
