Kahkashan Mumtaz

Kahkashan Mumtaz is a dedicated Internal Medicine trainee, currently working in UHB NHS Trust. She has a keen interest in infectious diseases.With a focus on tuberculosis and its evolving presentation during her undergraduate years, Kahkashan has contributed to advancing understanding in this critical area through case studies and clinical research. Her work emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis and innovative treatment approaches in
pediatric care.

Kahkashan has presented at various conferences and has been involved in initiatives aimed at improving TB awareness and management in developing countries. She is committed to raising awareness for diseases endemic to developing countries enhancing healthcare outcomes on a global level.
