Marcela Chiedde

As a recent physician graduate from Nove de Julho University in São Paulo, Brazil, I am thrilled to apply for a general surgery post focusing on a pediatric concentration. Pediatric birth abnormalities and cardiothoracic surgeries are my interests. I interned at USP’s pediatric surgery and liver transplant program which I had the honor of learning with surgery team chief leader, Dr.Ana Cristina Aoun Tannuri, from at the Children’s Institute (HC-FMUSP), throughout my academic career. I also worked with Dr. Mauricio Calderon, my main mentor, teacher and the pediatric’s surgery team chief leader at Beneficiencia Portuguesa, to research esophageal atresia, which I proudly wrote about as contribute author.
