I hail from KOLKATA, WEST BENGAL, INDIA- the land of SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

I was born in a small town, ASANSOL in the state of West Bengal.

After completing schooling, I moved to KOLKATA for further studies

I completed my medical school from Calcutta National Medical College and Post-graduation from NRS Medical college (Calcutta University)

There after I did a brief observer ship in pediatric rheumatology from PGI Chandigarh, under the guidance of Professor Surjit Singh.

I have completed MSc, Diploma in Rheumatology from University of South Wales.

I am currently engaged as faculty in Pediatric Medicine at Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences.

I conduct a superspeciality Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic, once a week.

I have more than 50 publications in national and international journals. I have also authored chapters in several books.

My passion includes cooking and I find a lot of stress relief in gardening.
