Ermira Kola

I am Ermira Kola, MD, PhD, Professor of Pediatrics, Neonatology, and Pediatric Intensive Care at the University of Medicine, Tirana, Albania. I have over 30 years of academic and clinical experience and have been a faculty member since 1991, holding the title of Professor since 2015. My areas of expertise include pediatric intensive care, neonatology, emergency pediatrics, and medical education. I have completed advanced postgraduate training in Belgium, Austria/USA, and Poland. I am the author and co-author of more than 45 peer-reviewed scientific publications and have delivered over 100 presentations at national and international conferences. I have participated in European research initiatives, including the FP7 project “Gabapentin in Paediatric Pain.” I am also the author of several pediatric textbooks and an active member of European professional
