Director of the Peniche Health Center from October 1996 to May 2005. President of the Board of Directors of Peniche District Hospital from August 2005 to January 2009. Member of the Board of the College of Family and General Medicine of the Portuguese Medical Association from December 2017 to January 2021. Member of the National Commission for Women’s, Children’s, and Adolescents’ Health from June 2010 to June 2016, and from May 2019 to April 2022. Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Portuguese Journal of Family and General Medicine since 2018. President of the Scientific Committee of the 22nd National Congress of Family and General Medicine, September 2018. PhD candidate in Palliative Care at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, since 2017.
