Swechhya Vaidya

Dr. Swechhya Vaidya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences at Patan Academy of Health Sciences, Nepal, and a PhD Scholar at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, India. Her work focuses on developmental pediatrics, particularly on the neurodevelopmental outcomes of neonatal infections in low-resource settings. She has published the study protocol of this cohort in BMJ Pediatrics Open and continues to contribute to research on child health, pediatric epidemiology, and health systems strengthening. Dr.Vaidya is actively involved in mentorship and capacity-building for young researchers in Nepal,India and South Asia.
