Sandra M. Ribeiro

Dr. Ribeiro is an Assistant Professor at LaGuardia Community College, specializing in Neurological Rehabilitation, Public Health, and Anatomy and Physiology. A licensed Physical and Recreational Therapist with a Pediatric Clinical Specialty, she has served as a senior instructor for the NYC Department of Education. She represents NY as Pediatric Advocacy Liaison and attends the APTA House of Delegates. She presented original research at the APTA Pediatric Academy (2023, 2024), contributed to a book on interprofessional practice, and participated in the 2024 IPEC Poster Fair. Her work includes a 10-minute exercise routine for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
