Ping Li

Deputy Chief Physician of Child Health Department, West China Second Hospital, Sichuan University, Doctor of Pediatrics, Post-doctor of Clinical Medicine. She has been engaged in the medical, teaching and research work related to children’s health care for a long time after graduation. Her main research directions are children’s health care, management of high-risk infants (premature infants, small for gestational age infants, etc.), developmental disorders (short stature, precocious puberty, etc.), diagnosis and treatment of childhood obesity and health management. Currently, she is a member of Obesity Prevention and Control Branch of National Nutrition and Health Promotion Association for Students in China, a deputy leader of the Growth and Development Group of the Adolescent Health, and a member of the Obesity Prevention and Control Branch Committee of Preventive Medical Association in Sichuan Province. Her researches have been funded by several national and provincial scientific funds, including the National Science Foundation of China (No. 81701540), the Science and Technology Bureau of Sichuan Province (No. 2020YFS0109 and No. 2023YFS0034). She has published more than 30 SCI papers, and co-edited three professional books. Besides, she won the “Second Prize of Sichuan Medical Science and Technology Award” for the research project.
