Dr. Carlos Schiappacasse M is a Medical Surgeon, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Valparaíso. Specialization in Ophthalmology at the University of Valparaíso (Carlos Van Buren Hospital). Specialization in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at the University of Milan (San Raffaele Scientific Institute), Italy.

He is one of the most experienced cataract surgeons in the country. Throughout his years as an ophthalmologist, he has performed more than 10,000 surgeries. He is the first physician in South America to perform cosmetic keratopigmentation to change eye color.
