Brian Bogno, DHSc, is an applied exercise science educator and Clinical Exercise Physiologist with experience in both clinical practice and K–12 health and physical education. He has several years of experience working with diverse populations, applying evidence-based exercise interventions to improve functional capacity, health outcomes, and quality of life. His work has been published in Inquiry and the Journal of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine, and he serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research and the Brazilian Journal of Sport Sciences. His research interests include functional resistance training, kinetic chain–based exercise, and training adaptations for aging and neurologically diverse populations, with a focus on translating research into practical applications across clinical, educational, and community settings.
