Sheila Doggrel has a DSc for her pharmacology research,Has taught pharmacology to medical, science, and allied health science students. Has written eBooks for teaching in pharmacology, and for this was awarded a QUT Vice-Chancellor’s Performance Award in 2012 and IUPHAR Education Section Teaching Excellence Award in 2014. Was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award in 2019 from ASCEPT, Undertakes scholarly writing, which makes a major contribution to her H-index of 21. Is presently involved in two research projects: (a) the relationship between lecture attendance, lecture recordings and academic outcomes, and (b) student reliance on ongoing assessment scores.
