Eliana Auxiliadora Magalhães Costa

She has a degree in Nursing from the Catholic University of Salvador (1983), a PhD and Post-doctorate in Collective Health from the Institute of Collective Health of the Federal University of Bahia, with an exchange program at the Nursing School of Porto, Portugal.Master in Health Services Organization (Federal University of Bahia) and Specialist in Hospital Infection Control (FIOCRUZ – RJ). She is currently a full professor at the Department of Life Sciences at the State University of Bahia. Member of the Specialized Service in Hospital Infection Control. Researcher in the area of Health Technologies, specifically reuse and reprocessing of single-use medical devices. Expertise in Health Care-Related Infection Control, Patient Safety, Health Surveillance and Health Services Sanitary Control.
