Ellen Johnson

Dr. Johnson is an Assistant Professor, School of Nursing, Minnesota State University, Mankato and has been in nursing for 26 years and higher education for almost 15 years and specializes in online instruction. Her BSN and MSN are from the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND and her DNP from the University of Alabama, Huntsville, Her clinical background includes medical surgical nursing, geriatrics and education. Her study interests include best practices in online learning and pediatric cancer perspectives. She is active in several organizations and committees including the NLN, International Association for Human Caring, and Minnesota State University Mankato’s Institutional Review Board.
