Elsa Armas Ferrer

Bachelor of Nursing (National University of Cajamarca), Magister in Public Health (Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia), and Doctoral student in Nursing (National University of San Marcos), native of the city of Chimbote, District of Santa, Department of Ancash, 54 years old, married and with 30 years of professional and work experience, especially in Health Services Management, Health Programs and Strategies and interventions in Public and Community Health,  occupying structural positions (Executive Director of People’s Health-DIRESA Ancash, Head of the Technical Unit of the CunaMas-MIDIS Social Program, Coordinator of technical teams-DISA IV LE and functional (Coordinator, Head of Areas/Units), and developing work operational at the different organizational levels of the country’s health system, both in administrative entities (MINSA, DIRESA/DISA/DIRIS, RED and Micro network) and in Health Service Provider Institutions (Posts, Health Centers and Hospitals) in the field of the Sierra and Coast. Currently, I work at the Ministry of Health as a member of the Technical Team of the Directorate of Benefit Exchange-DIPOS of the General Directorate of Assurance of Benefit Exchange-DGAIN, collaborating on the issue of implementation of Integrated Health Networks-RIS in Peru.
