Dr. Sanghamitra Singh is a trained health scientist, writer and public health researcher who straddles multiple roles at Population Foundation of India. As the Lead – Policy and Programmes, she provides strategic oversight to all programmes, manages organizational partnerships with key stakeholders, and oversees the development and dissemination of the Foundation’s research and literature. She is a print and digital commentator on issues pertaining to the health and well-being of women and young people, with several opinion editorials, interviews, and podcasts to her credit.
In a career spanning a decade, Dr.Singh has been previously associated with the George Washington University, Food and Drug Administration and National Institutes of Health. She has a PhD in Biological Sciences from George Washington University. She is a Commission Fellow at the Lancet Citizen’s Commission for Reimagining India’s health System and Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Development Policy and Practice.
