Andreia Cristina Pimparel Maia Guerreiro

Andreia Guerreiro, is a nurse at the Bragança Hospital Unit of the Northeast Local Health Unit, since 2015, in Portugal. She is also dedicated to teaching in the area of ​​health, having been a teacher since 2014, at Emídio Garcia Secondary School. Her passion for caring explains her dedication to continuing education in the field of healthcare. She is pursuing a Masters in Continuing Care (2016) and a Masters in Medical-Surgical Nursing (2021). In the Master’s Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing, she developed a scientific research study on iatrogenesis in nursing, from the perspective of nurses. She also has a degree in Sports Science, an area that she continues to enjoy, but which she would not trade for providing care and the nursing profession. She recognizes the area of ​​health care, the complexity of caring for someone, and the importance of enjoying what you do, for the excellence of health care.
