Florence Schaefer

Dr. Florence Schaefer is a graduate of Pilgrim Psychiatric Center School of Nursing, W. Brentwood, NY. She earned her BSN from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston TX. Dr. Schaefer earned a Masters of Science as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and PHD in Nursing Science from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, TX. Her 47-year career as an RN has led her to gaining experience in multiple fields in nursing. Dr. Schaefer found her calling serving the past 25 years in staff development and academia. Teaching and learning online during the Covid Pandemic led to investigating the science behind listening.
