Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Nursing from the Autonomous University of Baja California. Master’s degrees in Public Health and Innovation in Education. Specialty degrees in Constitutional Law, Education, and Pediatric Nursing. Additional training in hospital quality management, systems, and scientific research in health. Over 16 years of experience at the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), the largest public social security institution in Latin America. Roles include nurse, pediatric nurse, quality management team member, and lawyer in compliance and criminal matters. Educator for doctors and nursing staff, and president of the regional ethics and research committee. Researcher with several scientific publications in indexed journals. Experience in private hospital compliance, conducting internal audits, legal procedures with health authorities, and focusing on quality and compliance. Initiated a quality management system aligned with international and national standards, emphasizing patient safety. Provided training for administrative staff and health personnel on regulatory compliance and patient safety. Consultant for other areas on compliance issues. Extensive research experience with four published studies in Mexico and internationally. Member of the Ethics and Research Committee of IMSS in Baja California and the Bioethics Committee of the General Hospital in Tijuana.
