André Luís Nascimento da Silva, born on April 14, 1989 in the city of Torixoréu Mato Grosso. Son of Rozilene Maria do Nascimento and João Frutuoso da Silva, he has 6 siblings. He lived with his parents until he was 15 years old, worked as a baker, confectioner, and then took a course in hairdressing, which he worked to pay for the nursing course. He graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Faculdades Unidas do Vale do Araguaia-UNIVAR, has a postgraduate degree in Distance Education Tutoring and Teaching in Higher Education, and is currently studying for a master’s degree in Gerontology at the Federal University of Paraíba UFPB. His first job as a nurse was during the pandemic period at Tele enfermeiro where he made home visits to patients with symptoms of the disease, approximately one year later he was invited to act as coordinator of the nucleus of hospital epidemiological surveillance of the municipal hospital Milton Pessoa Morbeck in the city of Barra do Garças, in the state of Mato Grosso – Brazil, remaining in this position until the present day. Master’s student in Gerontology at the Federal University of Paraíba UFPB, through the agreement CAPES/COFEN and Federal University of Mato Grosso UFMT.
