Mary Gallotto

Mary Gallotto, RN, BSN, CPN, earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University. She has 37 years of nursing experience and11 years of experience educating caregivers to deliver Parenteral Nutrition in the home safely. Mary has contributed to several publications, including Journal of Infusion Nursing, Journal of Parenteral Enteral Nutrition, Telemedicine Journal and E-Health, and Nutrition in Clinical Practice. For the past seven years, she has overseen nursing Evidence-base projects, developed a Central Venous Catheter Care Simulation curriculum, participated in the development of a Central Line-Associated Blood Stream Infection bundle, and led a prospective study to allow caregivers the ability to use home intravenous pumps in a controlled hospital setting before discharge. She is a member of Infusion Nurses Society, American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition.
