Emily Donato

Emily Donato, is an Associate Professor in the Laurentian University School of Nursing, in Sudbury, Ontario. She completed her PhD in Rural and Northern Health in 2019. In the last 25 years, she has taught nursing as a clinical instructor, faculty advisor, and course professor, and has been in the role of Undergraduate Program Coordinator, Collaborative Coordinator for the Collaborative Nursing Program, and Director of the School of Nursing. Research interests include: self-directed learning, blended and technology enhanced learning, inter-professional education, rural and northern health, and sharing and dialoguing on pedagogy to improve teaching and learning in nursing programs.
