She has a psychology degree, a master’s degree in Psychology of Addictions, and a Doctor’s degree in Experimental Analysis of behavior. Also, she spent an academic year at the Center for Child Development of the May Institute in Chatham, Massachusetts. She belongs to the National System of Researchers in Mexico and is a Titular Professor in the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Her main research lines are:
1) Temporal, probabilistic, and effort discounting in children,
2) Children’s behavioral problems and parent training, and
3) Behavioral training to treat mental health and addiction disorders.
She has written more than 30 papers, 20 book chapters, ten books, and 10 Moodle ® technological developments for the behavioral training. She has been giving more than 30 lectures in specialized academic events. She is a consultant for the CICAD: Inter-American Observatory on Drugs (OID) of the OAS and the American Health Organization in Mexico.
